Property Tower Baku

‘Property Tower Baku’ is one of the most unique buildings on Heydar Aliyev Avenue in Baku. The foundation of the building is on 140 reinforced concrete piles with a diameter of 1 m and a length of 40 m. Due to the fact that Baku is located in a seismic region, the support structure of the building is made of reinforced concrete and steel construction and is resistant to 9-magnitude earthquakes. Each floor of the building rotates 2.6º in respect of previous floor, and as a result, the facade plane rotates 90º, giving the building a twisting effect.

There are many such type of rotating buildings in the world, but the fact that the facade of the Property Tower Baku is made entirely of glass and as each glass panel itself is curved, it distinguishes it from other buildings.
